Teach for China
Founded in 2008, Teach for China Fellowship Program (TFC) is a non-profit education programme that focuses on leadership building under the management of the Lead Foundation. Selected candidates become fellows who serve as full-time teachers for two years in rural, low-income communities that are deficient in learning resources. The fellows teach students academic and life skills needed to succeed in life. With professional program management, skills training and support, the fellows themselves not only gain invaluable professional and leadership experience through their work as teachers but also a deep understanding of China’s educational challenges and a long-term commitment to creating sustainable solutions.
