Cognac MARTELL
On certain occasions a meal with good food and wines might finish with a
great liqueur or spirit. The spirit that is closest to wine is Cognac, which
is produced from white wines from the Charentes region that are double
distilled in the famous charentais stills.
Most
of the production of Cognac is distilled and assembled by the great trading
houses. If it is true that in Bordeaux or Burgundy the reputation of a château
depends to a large degree on the terroir where its grapes grow, in the
case of a Cognac trading house its reputation will be built on the quality of
its blends and how the eaux-de-vie are assembled to make the final product.
For those who prefer refinement in a Cognac, Martell’s Cordon Bleu is
unbeatable. Martell can be distinguished from other producers by the high
proportion of its wines coming from les Borderies, the smallest of Cognac
growths, which gives very floral and subtle characteristics. These are
refined, soft, light and fine Cognacs.
Martell XO
Exquisite finesse : Bearing the signature of the founder, Jean
Martell, Martell XO (Extra Old) is one of the latest additions to the
range to be proposed since 2005 by the celebrated cellar master Bruno Lemoine.
This cognac which is particularly rich in Grande Champagne eaux de vie is
round and fruity with a long silky finish, showing finesse and sophisticated
elegance for all occasions.
Martell Cordon Bleu
Cordon Bleu has become a true legend since its creation in 1912 by
Edouard Martell. This is the cognac of connoisseurs with its predominant
Borderies eaux-de-vie and its authentic bottle, little changed since the
beginning. A classic in the world of Cognac.
