Jeannie Cho Lee
Born
in Korea, Jeannie Cho Lee’s interest in wine began at Oxford University and
compelled her to take wine classes whenever she had the chance. A successful
food and wine journalist since 1994, she writes regularly for various
international magazines, including Wine Spectator, The World of Fine
Wine, Revue du Vin and Wine Business International. She is
also wine columnist for Baccarat and contributing editor for The Asset.
An in-demand judge at international wine competitions and an educator,
Jeannie has been involved in teaching Wine and Spirit Education Trust courses
since 2004. In January, 2008, The Fine Wine School was launched in Central,
Hong Kong - a collaboration between Jeannie and Berry Bros & Rudd.
In 2007, Jeannie successfully passed all key parts of the rigorous Master of Wine exams. She is working on her dissertation to be awarded the title in the very near future. Jeannie is also a Certified Wine Educator (US Society of Wine Educators) and holds a Diploma from the Wine and Spirit Education Trust and a Master’s degree from Harvard University.
