Domaine des Perdrix is a small wine estate of 12 hectares based in Nuits-Saint-Georges in the Côte de Nuits, including the "climat" Aux Perdrix, which is almost a monopôle of the domain. Since 1996, it is part of the Domaines Devillard managed by Christiane and Bertrand Devillard.

Domaine des Perdrix was taken over in 1996 by Devillard's family, wine's men and women, for 5 generations. All vineyards were in perfect condition. High investments have been realized in the Cuverie, in order to take advantage of the present techniques.
Domaines Devillard also includes Château de Chamirey in Mercurey as well as the Domaine de la Ferté in Givry, both on the Côte Chalonnaise of Burgundy.

With 12 hectares of vines, mainly in Nuits-Saints-Georges, Domaine des Perdrix owns and exploits the entire surface of the vineyard site "Aux Perdrix" of 3.5 hectares except for 1%. It is why it is almost considered as a monopole of the domain. The Domaine also extends over some other great terroirs of : Vosne-Romané and Echézeaux Grand Cru (situated in "Echézeaux du dessus", right in the centre of this prestigious vineyard). More than half of the vineyards are Premiers Crus and Grand Crus.

The vineyard is cultivated with meticulous care, and yields are kept very low, producing deeply coloured, intensely flavoured, and full-bodied wines that retain nonetheless the elegance and balance of the greatest red Burgundies along with the hallmark red fruit and floral bouquet.

"Even in the great terroirs of Côte de Nuits, you can still discover great quality wines" - R. Parker, 1996
